Here are the three steps of the Optimum Osteopathy approach:
You don't need a referral from your doctor to see us. This means you can avoid the long waiting times often associated with other treatment options and get the care you need promptly. Here are steps of what you would expect from the Optimum Osteopathy way:
During your initial consultation we will provide the following:
-
A clear explanation of your symptoms and diagnosis.
-
Discuss a suitable treatment plan tailored to your needs.
-
Explain the benefits and any risks associated with the recommended treatment.
-
Ensure you understand and agree on what the treatment can achieve.
STEP 1:
DIAGNOSIS
The osteopath will use their hands to find areas of weakness, tenderness, restriction or strain within your body, particularly the spine.
Treatment is hands-on and involves skilled manipulation of the spine and joints, and massage of soft tissues. Your osteopath will explain what they are doing and will always ask your permission to treat you (known as consent).
STEP 2:
YOUR TREATMENT PLAN
Our customised injury rehab program will include specialised self-management plan tailored to your unique condition.
These plans feature:
-
Strengthening exercises
-
Mobility exercises
-
Proprioceptive exercises
-
Pain management techniques

We believe that combining osteopathy with specialized injury rehabilitation programs is the most effective way to achieve rapid symptom resolution.
